Terms and Conditions

Terms and conditions of services for Groutit Qld. By approving your quote and employing the services of Groutit Qld,

that you have read and agree to the terms and conditions below.

1. Definitions

In these terms and conditions:

a) "Client" means the person purchasing the services upon these terms and conditions and any entity acting on

behalf of or with the authority of the Client; and

b) "Supplier" means Groutit Qld; and

c) "Services" means any services quoted or carried out by Groutit Qld

2. Payment Terms

Payment to be made via Direct Deposit. Payment is due on the day of completion, with 24 hours allowed for payments to process. Payment Receipts on request.

Late payments may incur interest charges. If your payment is more than 30 days late, we will utilise a debt collection agency to take over the request for payment, and you agree that in this circumstance, you will pay the full debt collection fee (100% of the debt collectors' fee) in addition to the overdue payment plus interest.

3. Access

Clients are requested to ensure easy access is available, particularly in apartment buildings where you require a code or fob

to obtain entry. It is important that we can get in and out freely and have parking close by.

4. Drying Times

Tile re-grouting (including epoxy) and silicone sealing work requires a minimum of 24 hours to 'cure' before it can be used.

Keep the area clean, dry and free of traffic for 24 hours, or the warranty becomes void. A call-out fee will apply if we are required to repair any re-grouting work due to it being touched or walked on.

5. Weather

Weather may affect work - delays are possible during severe thunderstorms or wet weather. Outdoor areas are often delayed due to rain, including balconies, and any outdoor re-grouting work.

Clients are advised that we may need to set up electrical tools outdoors and undercover if it's raining. We request clients ensure we have access to a power outlet either directly outside, in a garage or with an extension lead running into the yard or balcony.

6. Cleaning of Grout & Mould

Groutit Qld takes no responsibility for mould or 'dirtiness' of grout and silicone after service. Grout requires maintenance and regular cleaning, especially in wet areas. This is beyond our control.

Whilst we use mould-resistant products, it is the client's responsibility to keep grout and silicone clean and free of mould. Keep as much natural light as possible in the area and dry the recess using a towel whenever possible, and allow the shower to dry out.

Do not apply anything to new grout or silicone work for 48 hours after completion. Keep all areas dry and clean for 24 hours after completion, and do not touch or step on wet grout or silicone.

7. Client Obligations

The Client agrees to remove any furniture, furnishings or personal items from the vicinity of the works and agrees that Groutit Qld shall not be liable for any damage caused to those items through the Client's failure to comply with this clause.

Clients are also required to provide clear access to the work area, and that parking is available.

8. Defects

The Client shall inspect the Services after completion and shall, within seven (7) days of completion (time being of the essence), notify Groutit Qld of any alleged defect, shortage in quality, damage or failure to comply with the quote. If the Client fails to comply, then the Services shall be presumed to be free from any defect or damage. For defective issues, the Client must report the issue to Groutit Qld to arrange either a repair or replacement.
